The scale and the size of my pants show that the stress of this past year has taken a hit on my healthy habits. I think I will call 2011 the lost year. For whatever reason I find it boring to just watch TV, being outside is so much more entertaining.

I am a huge fan of swimming for fitness. Doing both freestyle and breast stroke. I have no idea if that is a lot or a good amount. I am starting to get some good definition in my shoulders though. I would love to know what everyone else does when they swim. I think the answer is BOTH! I am holding onto any victory I can.
